Jordan Gate Towers will resume in August and work will be carried out in three phases,

The project
started in 2005 and was supposed to be completed five years later. But work
suddenly stopped in 2006 and the high-class commercial and residential
structures are still seen standing tall and dominant in West Um Uthaina near
Sixth Circle.
Rahamneh said
GAM is taking part in the project and
that the first stage of work will start in August and end in next May.
“The first phase comprises of preparing the
implementation plans, which include architecture and construction, drawing up
the contractors’ contracts and a list of specifications,” he said.
He noted that the initial renovation will also
include finishing up work on the exterior of the structures, and isolating the
towers to protect them from weather conditions.
The second phase, he added, will focus on the
northern tower, which boasts of luxurious apartments and a shopping mall. He
said work on the tower, which is linked to its southern twin through a
multi-story podium, will begin May 2023 and be completed by December 2024.
The third stage, which includes the southern tower,
will begin in March 2023.
Rahamneh said he did not have details on the cost,
saying the figures will be announced after the “tenders are approved”.
GAM agreed to become a partner in the project since
it is a “national institution, which works to stimulate the wheel of the
economy, to enhance the infrastructure across the Kingdom.”
He pointed out that GAM’s work “reflects on people’s
lives in the various fields”. He said that was GAM’s goal being a partner in
the Jordan Gate Towers project.
