1,372 new COVID-19 cases recorded, 14 new deaths

AMMAN — Jordan recorded 1,372 new COVID-19 cases and 14 new deaths Sunday, bringing the total death toll to 10,879 and the total cases to 841,489.اضافة اعلان

The Ministry of Health said that Amman recorded 538 cases, while Zarqa recorded 91 cases. Irbid registered 247 cases, Balqa 77 cases, Karak recorded 44, Jerash recorded 36 cases, and Tafileh recorded 17. Madaba registered 33 cases, Aqaba 95, and Ajloun 80.

The ministry added in a statement that around 55 hospitalized COVID-19  patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 70 new patients were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 15,207 according to the ministry. Around 4.88 percent of the 28,099 COVID-19 tests conducted today came back positive.
