1,410 beggars arrested in March — ministry

AMMAN — The Ministry of Social Development’s anti-vagrancy personnel in March arrested 1,410 beggars, both minors and adults.اضافة اعلان

According to the department’s monthly report, 341 and 351 of the adult cases reported on were men and women, respectively, while 431 and 287 of the minors reported were boys and girls.

A total of the 265 cases were non-Jordanians and 135 of those were minors.

The number of cases recorded in northern Jordan stood at 787, compared to 555 and 68 cases in central and southern Jordan, respectively, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
