The Ministry of Education, in a press release, announced the
completion of all procedures related to welcoming students for the second
semester, including supplying textbooks, allocating classrooms, and organizing
teaching staff at schools. All textbooks will be available on the first day of
classes, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.
The ministry emphasized that the difference in this year's
academic calendars is due to the implementation of the national therapeutic
intervention program by government schools.
This program is applied throughout the year by dedicating
the first ten minutes of the math class and two sessions of the Arabic language
per week to implement program activities. This measure requires an increase in
the actual school days to avoid impacting the teaching of the current
curriculum.
