AMMAN — The
Kuwaiti ministry of education is coordinating with relevant authorities to
finalize the appointment procedures for teachers from Jordan and Palestine,
with whom the ministry has signed contracts, Khaberni News reported.

Some 618 teachers have signed contracts with
the ministry, 129 from Jordan and 489 from Palestine.
Now, they are waiting for the authorities to
complete the required procedures.
The ministry addressed the Kuwait Civil
Service Commission (CSC) and matters are still pending.
Visas will be sent to teachers and tickets
will be booked for them to travel to Kuwait once the CSC issues approvals for
the contracts.
The Kuwaiti ministry of education is prepared to receive
teachers who will be handed JD200 as an advance upon arrival, a sum that will
be deducted from their first salary.
