AMMAN — The 12th edition of the Annual Warrior
Competition, which is organized by the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army kicked off
Sunday, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.

Forty teams from different countries are
participating in the competition, which kicked off at the King Abdullah II
Special Operation Training Center.

According to the armed forces, the
competition is designed in a way to demonstrate the participants’ endurance,
patience, teamwork and how to apply martial arts skills.
The Annual Warrior Competition, which
was created in 2009, is a combat-oriented competition that is based on physical
ability, teamwork, communication and individual accuracy.
