The Greater Amman Municipality announced on Friday that the Health and Professional Control Department issued 329 warnings and 120 violations, and destroyed 13,459 liters of juice, along with removing 207 street vendors, during the first 6 days of Ramadan.

The municipality emphasized that it is intensifying its oversight during Ramadan, particularly on Ramadan juices exposed to sunlight, which are prone to rapid spoilage.
Regarding the slaughterhouses, the municipality clarified that 15 warnings and 23 violations were issued, and meat was destroyed in the field 7 times.
The Health and Professional Control Department also stated that food samples are regularly taken for the Ramadan monitoring program, alongside raising awareness through social media campaigns and providing lectures to traders, citizens, and especially school students regarding healthy practices during Ramadan.
