160,000 cars enter and leave Amman daily

AMMAN — Every day, 160,000 cars from outside Amman enter and leave the capital during the morning and evening rush hours via nine different roads, in addition to the 1 million cars that are already present in the city, according to Traffic Department Director Brig. Gen Firas Al-Duwairi, Khaberni reported.اضافة اعلان

Duwairi said on Monday that the Traffic Department deals with 6 million traffic movements in the capital every day.

The number of cars in the Kingdom increases annually by an average of 80,000 cars, he said.
