AMMAN — The
Jordan Exporters Association (JEA)
has announced the participation of 18 Jordanian companies in the upcoming
Saudi Food Expo 2023.

The event, set to take place on June 20 at the
Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, aims to showcase and
promote the Kingdom's food industry, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
JEA head, Ahmed Khudari, emphasized the
significance of Jordan's involvement in the fair, particularly during a time of
growing global interest in food security.
He stated that the expo's inaugural session
provides a crucial platform for
Jordanian industrial companies to stay informed
about the latest developments in the food industry and exchange expertise with
international participants.
Attracting industry experts
The three-day exhibition is expected to
attract industry experts, international companies, producers, suppliers, and
renowned chefs from around the world.
Khudari emphasized that
JEA remains committed to empowering Jordanian industrial companies and exporters, supporting their
presence in international forums and exhibitions, enhancing their
competitiveness in foreign markets, and exploring new avenues for export.
Khudari further highlighted the importance of
the Saudi market as a key destination for Jordanian industrial exports,
particularly in the food sector. He underlined the strong relations between the
two brotherly countries at various levels.
Unique experience
Halim Abu Rahma, the director general of JEA,
noted that the Saudi Food Expo 2023 presents visitors with a unique opportunity
to discover food products from various countries in the region and beyond.
The exhibition enables
business exchanges and knowledge sharing with exhibitors while also showcasing the latest products and
technologies in the food industry.
The Jordanian pavilion at the expo will occupy
an area of 225sq.m. and feature 18 local companies specializing in different
segments of the food industry.
Abu Rahma expressed confidence that visitors
will be impressed by the advanced quality of Jordanian food products, which are
now strong competitors in global markets.
Abu Rahma urged Jordanian industrial companies
operating in the food industry to seize the opportunity and participate in the
exhibition to promote their products and expand their reach.
