AMMAN — A Polish chartered plane carrying
189 tourists landed at the King Hussein International Airport in the southern
city of Aqaba on Tuesday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Nayef Hamidi
Al-Fayez emphasized the significance of the chartered flights in attracting more
tourists and boosting tourism in the Kingdom, the Jordan Tourism Board (JTB)
said in a statement.
JTB Director-General Abdul Razzaq Arabiyat said that
the arrival of Polish tourists, which is supported by the board, was the result
of collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, the Aqaba Authority, and the
relevant tourism companies.
Nidal Al-Majali, a commissioner for tourism and environment
at the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority, said that chartered flights would
guarantee a robust tourist industry in the Red Sea resort city.
