Director of the Health Control Department of the
Greater Amman Municipality
Khaldoun Al-Hawadi said that 19,400 liters of fresh juices have been disposed
of since the beginning of the Ramadan, including 3,100 on Monday, according to
Al-Mamlaka TV.

Hawadi said that that the juices were disposed of by
inspection teams visiting random stands and street vendors’ stalls.
He explained that the teams dispose of juices
because they are exposed to sunlight and do not have an expiration date,
product ingredients, or methods of preparation and storage.
The inspection teams are divided into two different
sections. The first works on economic establishments and carries out 34 daily
tours, and the second section focuses on random stands and street vendors and
carries out 25 daily tours.
