AMMAN — There are currently 19
Jordanian prisoners in Israeli prisons, nine of them facing life sentences,
according to the rapporteur of the
National Committee for Jordanian Prisoners and Missing Persons in Israeli Prisons, Fadi Farah.

Farah told Amman Net that the
prisoners are facing torture and abuse, unfair laws, exaggerated sentences, lack of access to
the most basic rights, and deliberate medical neglect at the hands of the
occupation.
‘An empty place at the table’Furthermore, Israel also alienates them
from their families, depriving them of visits.
