AMMAN — The 21st edition of the Jordan Economic Forum kicked off Tuesday under the title: “International Investment
and FinTech” conference, the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
During his opening remarks, Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply Yousef Al-Shamali said that the conference’s topics go hand-in-hand
with endeavors to leverage international relations and harness technology to
launch finance-attractive projects.
Through involving the private sector, Shamali underlined
the government’s commitment to attracting foreign investment, and encouraging
Jordanian entrepreneurs, which is illustrated through its three Economic
Modernization Vision priorities: political, administrative, and economic
reforms.
He said that the Public Sector Modernization roadmap
initiatives provide a view of our aspirations for digital transformation
through innovative solutions that maximize efficiency, reduce costs, and
eliminate administrative burdens through establishing alternative and
innovative work mechanisms that help the government implement its tasks and
carry out its responsibilities.
