Aqaba Governor Khalid Hajjaj denied the presence of any
gas leaks in the
Aqaba Special Economic Zone, explaining that the cases of
suffocation were due to the dust in the air, which was dense during the early
morning hours, Jo24 News reported.
Hajjaj confirmed that all the affected individuals left the
hospital after receiving appropriate treatment.
He also said that environmental tests did not reveal any gas
leaks from factories or surrounding areas.
