In a statement issued Monday,
Obeidat called for applying all health protocols,
adhering to public safety procedures, social distancing in classrooms and
squares, and wearing masks.
He also emphasized the need for everyone to take vaccines
to avoid an increase in the number of cases; particularly since 25 percent of
students at the university haven't taken the vaccine yet.
He said that the university is counting on the students' commitment to these
procedures in order to avoid negative health repercussions, and that penalties
would be imposed related to this matter.
He added that there will be a review of the health protocol three months after
the return of students, specifically in regard to dealing with students,
according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
