AMMAN — Through the
Sanad mobile application for government e-services, a total of 300,000 digital IDs have been
activated, according to the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship.

The ministry said it is continuing a
campaign to activate digital IDs across the Kingdom at over 500
Sanad centers at
government institutions and other agencies, Khaberni reported.
The Sanad app has 3 million downloads
across smartphone app stores and users have logged in 4.25 million times since
its launch.
Under the public sector modernization roadmap,
the government seeks to reach 3.5 million digital IDs and complete the
automation of all government services by 2025.
Citizens can download the Sanad application and activate their digital IDs to start using government e-services, allowing
them to access personal information and digital documents, sign documents, and pay
fees, among other features, the ministry said.
