Joint
committees formed by the Zarqa governorate, the municipality and the
relevant authorities to count the number of buildings, estimated at about 350,
and procedures began with the evacuation of a number of houses for threatening
public safety, whose construction age exceeded 60 years.
A
database and the degree of danger of each building need to be determined, in addition to
the complexities of the current building law that prevent citizens from
renovating their home.
