AMMAN — According to data released Thursday, September 14,
by the
Ministry of Justice (MoJ), 351 alternative penalties to imprisonment
were implemented during the past month of August.

According to the data, 470 judicial verdicts were issued for
alternative penalties to
imprisonment during the past month, marking a 24 percent increase, Al-Saa News
reported.
Other data
The
Ministry of Justice also stated that Jordanian courts
conducted 7,000 remote trial sessions, while receiving 207 requests for legal
assistance during the past month of August.
Additionally,
electronic monitoring (ankle bracelets) was
applied to 13 cases, and 3.5 million legal documents were archived.
