The
Ministry's spokesman, Ambassador Sufian Al-Qudah, explained that transportation
arrangements were made through the Jordanian Embassy in Egypt on Saturday for
18 Jordanian citizens out of the 36 who were evacuated from Gaza to Egypt via
the Rafah crossing, Al-Ghad reported.
He added that they were then transported to
Jordan aboard a ship belonging to the Arab Bridge Maritime Company, in
coordination with the Ministry of Transport. The ship arrived at the port of
Aqaba from Nuweiba.
Qudah further stated that the Aqaba Special

those evacuated arrived in Cairo, pointing out that the number of Jordanian
citizens evacuated from Gaza to Egypt via the Rafah crossing has reached 799
