4 killed, 61 injured in traffic collisions during Eid Al-Adha — PSD

AMMAN — Four people were killed and 61 were injured in 17 traffic collisions across the country during the Eid Al-Adha holiday, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra, citing the Public Security Directorate (PSD). All of them involved drivers’ non-compliance with traffic rules, PSD said. Several speed violations were registered during the Eid, said the PSD, including those of two drivers caught driving at a speed of 212km/h and 183km/h on Airport Road. A driver’s failure to follow traffic safety precautions killed a mother and her child, who were run over in the Sahab district, PSD said.
