AMMAN – The number of Jordanian doctors who
have applied to volunteer for the relief of the wounded and injured in the Gaza
Strip has reached more than 400 doctors, according to Dr. Mazhar Al-Jalamda,
the spokesperson for the Medical Relief Committee at the
Jordan Medical Association.

Al-Jalamda stated to Ammon news that the
association had opened the registration for volunteering through a special
online link. He confirmed that the association is in contact and coordination
with the Arab Medical Union, the
Palestinian Red Crescent, and the
Red Cross to
coordinate the entry of medical teams.
He added that the association has started
categorizing the doctors based on the required specialties, especially
surgical, emergency, and performing surgeries. This is due to the shortage of
medical and healthcare services, the scarcity of medical supplies, and the
limited medical staff available for treatment, all exacerbated by Israeli
attacks.
