AMMAN —
Forty-one people were injured in a collision between a bus and a semi-truck,
just after Al-Naima Bridge on the Amman-Irbid road, on Wednesday, the Bani
Obaid Police Department informed Al-Mamlaka TV.
The bus overturned
as a result, and “the accident resulted in 41 injuries, according to preliminary
information, of which two are in serious condition and the rest are between
good and moderate,” according to the Traffic Department.
Director–General of
the King Abdullah University Hospital Mohammad Al-Ghazo said that the hospital
received 21 of the total number of injured, adding that they are being treated
and are in relatively good condition.
