GAZA – On Sunday, the Jordanian
Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates announced that 46 Jordanians have been evacuated from Gaza to
Egypt via the Rafah Border Crossing, out of 63 originally planned.

Ambassador Dr. Sufyan Qudah, the ministry's official
spokesperson, explained that 41 Jordanian citizens out of 46 who were evacuated
were transported to the Kingdom on a ship owned by the
Arab Bridge Maritime Co.
in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport. Qudah went on to say that the
ship has just arrived in the
port of Aqaba. The
Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) welcomed them, provided assistance and medical care, and
transported those who wished to go to the capital, Amman. He further said that
the five others evacuated passengers had arrived in Cairo.
According to Qudah, 712 Jordanian citizens were evacuated
from Gaza through the
Rafah Border Crossing, out of 1153 on the ministry's
roster.
Qudah reiterated his call for Jordanian citizens in Gaza to
