AMMAN — The
Jordan Medical Association has recorded 54 deaths among its
doctors since the beginning of the pandemic until December 20, according to Jo24.
The first death was recorded in October 2020, a month in which eight deaths
were recorded.

Head
of JMA Mohammad Rasool Al-Kilani said that 12 doctors died in November 2020 and
seven in December 2020, while in 2021, four doctors died in January, four in
February, 10 in March, four in April, one in August, and four each in November
and December.
He
stressed that doctors risk their lives to save people, so citizens should feel
responsible for protecting them by adhering to public safety procedures, maintaining
physical distancing, and wearing masks, which leads to a decline in the number
of cases of infected and dead, among both doctors and members of society in
general.
