6 new deaths and 1,268 new cases

AMMAN  — Jordan recorded 1,268 new COVID-19 cases and 6 new deaths Thursday, bringing the total death toll to 10,847 and the total cases to 838,523.اضافة اعلان

The Ministry of Health said that Amman recorded 487 cases, while Zarqa recorded 104 cases. Irbid registered 248 cases, Balqa 88 cases, Karak recorded 31, Jerash recorded 22 cases, and Tafileh recorded 13. Madaba registered 24 cases, Aqaba 98, and Ajloun 53.

The ministry added in a statement that around 59 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 82 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 14,604 according to the ministry. Around 3.64 percent of the 34,803 COVID-19 tests conducted today came back positive.
