AMMAN — Turnout for the Lebanese parliamentary elections outside
Lebanon has reached 60 percent among the Lebanese community in Jordan, Lebanese
Foreign Minister
Abdallah Bou Habib announced, according to Jordan News Agency,

In a press conference in Beirut, Bou Habib said 483 Lebanese in Jordan voters
had registered to cast ballots, and the Lebanese embassy in Amman had devoted a
polling center and two stations for this purpose.
Turnout worldwide reached about 59 percent, while it hit 56 percent in the last
parliamentary elections in 2018, he pointed out.
On Thursday, the first phase of the elections for the Lebanese expats abroad
took place, which included Jordan and eight Arab countries, in addition to
Iran.
