Abdallat highlighted the role of civil society institutions in interacting with the preparation of the Comprehensive National Plan for Human Rights 2016–2025, which is the first strategic document of the Jordanian state aimed at improving the human rights situation. Civil society institutions have evaluated this plan twice, Al-Rai News reported.

Jordan is celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, reinforcing its role in promoting these fundamental values. This aligns with His Majesty the King's vision of working towards establishing a true partnership among all stakeholders to advance the human rights agenda and enhance the concept of the rule of law.
