AMMAN — A report from the
UNHCR revealed that 79 percent of registered Syrian refugees in Jordan reside outside of refugee camps.

According to the report,
Syrian refugees living outside the camps are concentrated in the northern and central provinces, with only a small number residing in the southern part of the kingdom.
Details of the report
The capital, Amman, topped the list of
Syrian refugees residing in Jordan, with a total of 195,334 refugees registered with the
UNHCR. Following closely, the city of Mafraq ranked second, with approximately 169,043 refugees, followed by the province of Irbid with around 128,467 refugees.
