Irbid – The total amount of vegetables, fruits, and leafy greens arriving at the central market of Irbid Municipality today, Monday, reached 803 tons.

The director of the central market at Irbid Municipality, Engineer Rabea’ Al-Rousan, told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) that the total quantity of vegetables received at the market was 517 tons, while 183 tons of fruits and 63 tons of leafy greens were delivered. Additionally, 33 tons of mixed fruits and vegetables, as well as 7 tons of other items like strawberries, were also received.
According to the central market's report, prices ranged as follows: the price of black eggplant was between 15-25 piasters, dry onions between 25-38 piasters, garlic between 250-350 piasters, potatoes between 40-60 piasters, tomatoes between 15-45 piasters, cucumbers between 15-25 piasters, cauliflower between 25-40 piasters, and zucchini between 35-55 piasters.
