Harahsheh will be enrolled at the faculty of medicine at the
Jordan University of Science & Technology (JUST), said the spokesperson for the Ministry of
Higher Education and Scientific Research Muhannad Al-Khatib.
He said her admission was in seats designated for those who get the
highest Grade Point Average in the Tawjihi exam across all governorates.
Khatib added that Harahsheh will be eligible for a full grant to cover
her university fees as of the first semester, since she is the first on the
district and after the unified admission department checked her situation and
ensured that it meets all the requirements.
Khatib also said that
Minister of Education Wajih Owais called Harahsheh’s
father Saturday morning and told him that Thakaa’s dream came true after all
the suffering and hardship she went through to make it real.
