Al-Ghoul was injured during the Israeli special forces' raid on the Jabriyat neighborhood and surrounding areas of the camp.

He was transferred to the Istishari Hospital in Ramallah, where his condition was described as critical, and his martyrdom was announced today.

With Al-Ghoul's martyrdom, the number of martyrs in Jenin since the beginning of the unprecedented Israeli aggression has risen to 16, along with dozens of injuries.

Jenin Governor Kamal Abu Rubb stated in a press release today, Sunday, that Israeli forces have demolished around 20 homes in the Al-Damaj area of the camp.

There is concern that there may be martyrs under the rubble, as Israeli forces have prevented ambulance crews from entering the camp to transfer the wounded and search for martyrs.

He also added that the occupation forces have prevented journalists from covering the Israeli crimes in the camp, including the destruction of homes and roads.
