AMMAN— On Saturday, there will be a
slight rise in temperatures to reach around their seasonal average and the
weather will be cold almost countrywide and fair in the Jordan Valley, the Dead
Sea and Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily
update, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

In its report, the JMD warns of the
possibility of frost formation in late night hours over the highlands and the
Badia regions.
According to the JMD, Sunday will be
see another slight rise in temperatures to exceed their seasonal average, and
the weather will be sunny and relatively cold almost countrywide and warm in
the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba.
However on Monday, temperatures are
forecast to drop slightly and the weather will be cold almost countrywide and
pleasant in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, with with a weak chance
in the morning hours of light rain showers in the Kingdom's northern areas.
The minimum and maximum temperatures
in Amman range between 3-14 degrees Celsius, in the Dead Sea 10-23, and in the
Gulf of Aqaba 11-23 degrees Celsius, according to the (JMD) report.
