Irbid – The Irbid branch of the Agricultural Credit Corporation (ACC) has provided a total of JD2,908,737 in loans to local farmers and rural households in the city, benefiting 583 individuals, according to the branch's director, Adel Al-Dwairi.

Al-Dwairi explained that the corporation's main goal is to offer tailored financial services that meet the needs of those working in the agricultural sector, while maintaining high service standards and efficiency. The institution aims to improve the living conditions of rural families who rely heavily on agriculture for their income.
He further emphasized that the Corporation is the primary financial partner of the Ministry of Agriculture, playing a pivotal role in the development of the agricultural sector.
The loans have been allocated across a variety of initiatives, including JD350,000 for projects focused on empowering women, JD200,000 for rural development financing, and JD55,000 for interest-free loans aimed at promoting good agricultural practices.
Additional funds have been directed towards land reclamation, livestock development, and food processing ventures.
In terms of repayments, Al-Dwairi reported that as of December 1, the branch had collected a total of JD2,982,000.
