On Tuesday, the Head of the Tourism, Services and Restaurants Committee at the
Amman Chamber of Industry (ACI), Raed
Hamada, called for intensified promotional campaigns to
boost tourist numbers, particularly during the Eid al-Fitr holiday.

In a statement, Hamada stressed the importance
of targeting Arab markets in marketing efforts, emphasizing family tourism
given Jordan's diverse tourism offerings and the spring season's ambiance,
which offers various tourism experiences, Al-Ghad reported.
He noted that Arab markets, especially those
in the Gulf, are crucial for spring tourism, warranting intensified promotional
campaigns to attract more tourists during Eid al-Fitr.
Hamada also highlighted the significance of
collaborative efforts and leveraging modern technology in marketing strategies
within Arab markets to position Jordan as an appealing tourist destination. He
emphasized the need to activate embassy roles in marketing and tourist
attraction.
He underscored the importance of increasing
tourist traffic to stimulate the national economy by revitalizing various
commercial and service sectors, including hotels, restaurants, and
transportation, as well as bolstering the country's foreign currency reserves.
Additionally, Hamada emphasized the importance
of boosting domestic tourism during Eid al-Fitr by providing support and
expanding programs to promote domestic tourism across different regions of the
country.
