AREC urges Arab nations to benefit from Jordan's green transport expertise
Amman - The 9th Arab Renewable Energy Forum stressed the need to introduce creativity and innovation in renewable energy, green hydrogen and smart grids and cities into school curricula in Arab countries.اضافة اعلان

Concluding its activities in Amman, the forum called for encouraging school students to pursue green technical and vocational education in the preparatory stages, which would refine their personalities and qualify them to join the labor market to open small and medium-sized companies to support growth of Arab societies.

The event was held in Amman under the auspices of HRH Princess Sanaa Asem, chairperson of the higher oversight committee at the Arab Renewable Energy Commission (AREC), under the theme: "The Future of Renewable Energy and Green Education in the Arab World".

According to an AREC statement Saturday, the forum recommended the necessity of joint Arab cooperation to achieve economic and social integration, support research, development and innovation, and activate the social responsibility of electricity companies in Arab countries to reduce energy bill in poverty pockets and remote areas to encourage target groups settle in their residences.

Furthermore, the statement noted the necessity of establishing a pan-Arab platform for renewable energy to strengthen pan-Arab relations and exchange expertise and unify specifications and standards for all renewable energy inputs and electric vehicles in Arab countries.

The forum also urged Arab countries to prepare an infrastructure for electric-powered vehicles and green transportation and benefit from Jordan's expertise in this field.
