AMMAN— On Friday, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced that applying for the ministry’s internal grants and loans for the regular program students has ended, according to Almamlaka TV.

Director of the Unified Admission Coordination Unit, Muhannad Al-Khatib, said that the number of applications which the ministry received reached to 77923, indicating that the ministry is currently sorting them out to announce the students’ points and open a space for grievances before announcing the names of the eligible students.
Khatib added that this is the first time the ministry is going to announce the students’ points which will be based on their academic and economic data, so that they could file their grievances accordingly. After that, the ministry is going to announce, once and for all, the names of students who are eligible for the ministry’s internal grants and loans.
Applying for the ministry’s internal grants and loans for the year 2021/2022 has started on Monday, 23rd of November.
