Adaileh, Egyptian higher education minister discuss academic cooperation
Cairo - Jordanian Ambassador to Cairo, Amjad Adaileh, discussed with Egyptian Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Ayman Ashour, ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and scientific and academic exchange.اضافة اعلان

Ashour stressed the "deep-rooted" joint cooperation relations , which were reflected in various scientific, cultural and research fields.

Ashour also voiced "keenness" to maintain coordination in these areas to serve the ongoing preparations for the next session of the Jordanian-Egyptian Joint Higher Committee.

Furthermore, Ashour said Egypt welcomes Jordanian students, praising evaluation standards set by Jordan to ensure "quality" of the educational level.

Ashour stressed the continued efforts to develop the system of foreign students in Egypt, and their involvement in organizing student activities and events with their Egyptian peers to obtain a "distinguished" educational experience that contributes to building their personality in various aspects.

For his part, Adaileh stressed Jordan's pride in the level of "close" cooperation and exchange relations with Egypt in the higher education sector, which has achieved "remarkable" progress in recent years.

Adaileh commended cooperation and coordination provided by the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education, which enhances joint educational exchange, especially in light of the increasing number of Jordanian students in Egyptian universities and the "noticeable" increase of their Egyptian counterparts in Jordan, with the progress and expansion of the two countries' higher educational institutions.

Adaileh noted efforts made by the two countries' specialists and the consultative endeavors to develop the executive program for cooperation in the field of higher education and scientific research, which was signed by the Jordanian-Egyptian Joint Higher Committee, which is reflected in quality of educational outcomes in various university specializations.

Adaileh stressed "keenness" to advance cooperation and networking of the two countries' universities, research centers and researchers.

In this regard, he siad this effort aims to implement scientific research projects that would serve their scientific progress, especially in "vital" sectors of common interest, primarily energy, cybersecurity and climate, which require achieving scientific innovations that push progress and development of the capabilities of scientific institutions and practical sectors in Jordan and Egypt.

During the meeting, proposals were presented to develop mutual cooperation in the fields of higher education and scientific research and expand its horizons among Jordanian and Egyptian universities and various centers and institutes, which would contribute to exchange expertise and increase scientific benefit.
