AMMAN — Jordan's ambassador to Egypt and permanent representative to the Arab League,
Amjad Adaileh, headed the Jordanian delegation in the 36th session of the Arab Executive Office for Electricity on Thursday.

According to the Jordan News Agency, Petra, the meeting which was held at the ministerial level at the Cairo-based League's headquarters, was attended by the office's member states, including Jordan,
Egypt,
Tunisia,
Algeria,
Saudi Arabia,
Kuwait,
Mauritania, and
Yemen.
At the technical level, the Jordanian delegation took part in a series of preparatory talks over the past few days that preceded the office's work, including the 12th meeting of the action team for studying the comprehensive Arab electrical interconnection.
The delegation also attended the 29th meeting of the steering committee charged with following up the pan-Arab power interconnection project.
