Minister of Education and Higher Education
Mohammad Abdu Qdeis explained these educators had their recruitment procedures
initiated before the
COVID-19 pandemic, as they were supposed to start their
work during the 2019-2020 school year, when a decision was issued by the Cabinet to
suspend all appointments in state institutions.
Abu Qdeis added in media statements that a
group of teachers were required to study a pre-service training diploma program
and another group was asked to attend a 160-hour training course prior to starting
their career.
