AMMAN — Air traffic via
Queen Alia International Airport rose by 36 percent in February compared to the same month
of 2022, linking the Kingdom directly with 84 international destinations, the
Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

February witnessed 193 daily flights,
compared to 142 flights in the same month of 2022,
Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC) Chief Commissioner Haitham Misto said on Tuesday in a
statement.
2023 flightsSince the beginning of the year through the
end of February, 11,423 flights
arrived and departed from the airport, compared
to 8,608 flights during the same period in 2022, Misto said.
Passenger traffic also grew by 72 percent,
with 1.325 million passengers arriving and departing during the first two
months of the year, compared to 769,000 in January and February 2022.
