AMMAN - The Queen Alia International
Airport (QAIA) handled a total of 4,947 inbound and outbound aircraft movements (ACM) in November, down 4 percent from the figure reported in October, according to Haitham Misto, Chief Commissioner of the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC).

Misto told Petra on Thursday that the total ACMs since the start of the current year reached 41,632 to and from 64 direct destinations.
Similarly, passenger traffic dropped by 13 percent in November to a total of about 470,000 travellers. Since the start of 2021 through November, the airport welcomed a total of 4.089 million passengers, Misto noted.
