AMMAN — The recently launched Ajloun Cable Cars have
attracted an impressive number of visitors, surpassing 30,000 since its
inauguration, according to the General Manager of Development Areas, Arwa
Al-Hayari.

The project, situated in the beautiful Ajloun Governorate,
has become a popular destination for both locals and tourists alike.
According to Ammon News, Hayari revealed that the cable cars
experience a surge in weekend visitors, with approximately 2,500 people
enjoying the scenic journey. On weekdays, the daily average reaches a commendable
2,000 visitors, demonstrating sustained interest throughout the week.
Highlighting the convenience and efficiency of the cable car
system, Al-Hayari mentioned that the one-way journey takes a mere 10 minutes.
Currently, the cable cars boast a fleet of 40, each capable of accommodating 8
passengers comfortably.
However, plans are underway to enhance the capacity by
introducing an additional 20 cable cars, resulting in a total of 60, providing
more opportunities for visitors to experience the unique attraction.
In addition to its impact on tourism, the Ajloun Cable Cars
project has been instrumental in generating employment opportunities for the
local community.
Hayari also shared that approximately 100 job positions have
been created, offering young individuals in the Ajloun Governorate a chance to
contribute to the region's economic growth and development.
