The Head of the Ajloun Reconstruction Foundation, Lawyer Suhaib Al-Qudah, stated that the delay in completing the school has had a negative impact on both students and their parents, as many students are forced to attend schools far from their homes, which adds financial burdens and affects their academic performance.
He added that building the school will contribute to improving the educational level in the town by providing a modern educational environment and equipped facilities that will serve both students and teachers.
He urged the relevant authorities to expedite the implementation of the project.
The Head of the Educational Development Council, Ali Al-Qudah, explained that the school’s construction will help enhance the educational infrastructure in the town by providing a suitable learning environment that supports the educational process and enhances various activities that benefit students.
He mentioned that the council is working in coordination with the relevant authorities to ensure the project’s implementation and to achieve the maximum benefit for students, teachers, and the local community.
Osama Louay Al-Qudah, a member of the Family Cultural Forum, emphasized that the school is a necessary project that will reduce the pressure on other schools in the town and provide students with the opportunity to study in a comfortable environment that meets their educational needs.
He noted that the continued delay in the project’s execution increases the suffering of students.
The Head of the Ajloun Governorate Council, Omar Al-Momani, stated that the council allocated 1.2 million dinars for the project more than two years ago with the goal of implementing it according to the set plan to meet the growing needs of students.
He stressed the importance of speeding up the work and ensuring that the new contractor adheres to the set schedule.
Engineer Issam Abu Ahmadah, Director of Buildings and International Projects at the Ministry of Education, said that the ministry had issued a new tender worth 409,000 dinars after the previous contractor withdrew, despite completing a significant portion of the project.
He pointed out that the ministry received a financial commitment document from the Ministry of Finance amounting to 500,000 dinars to cover the costs of the tender, expressing hope that the work will be completed as quickly as possible so that the school can welcome students at the beginning of the new school year in September.
Khaldoun Jweid, the Director of Education in Ajloun, praised the Ministry of Education’s efforts in following up on educational projects that meet the needs of students in various areas.
He also appreciated the cooperation and partnership between the governorate council and the Ministry of Education in improving the educational situation through the maintenance of school buildings and expanding the establishment of new educational facilities to meet students' needs.
