Ajloun– The Ajloun Governorate Council, during a session held today, Monday, chaired by Council President Omar Al-Momani, approved its budget for the year 2025, totaling 10 million and 120 thousand dinars, distributed across 84 projects within 18 sectors in the governorate.

Al-Momani emphasized that the budget was approved after several discussions and dialogues between council members and the executive council, highlighting the importance of coordinating efforts to ensure the efficient and effective implementation of projects while considering the anticipated goals and financial costs.
He explained that the budget was distributed across the governorate’s regions, with the Works sector leading the budget allocation with 4 million and 205 thousand dinars, followed by the Water and Sewage sector with 1 million and 393 thousand dinars, and the Education sector with 1 million and 282 thousand dinars.
Other sectors receiving allocations include:
Local administration sector: 970 thousand dinars
Health sector and Al-Eman Government Hospital: 630 thousand dinars
Youth and sports sector: 380 thousand dinars
Social development sector: 355 thousand dinars
Agriculture sector: 295 thousand dinars
Additional allocations include:
Archaeology sector: 160 thousand dinars
Vocational training sector: 115 thousand dinars
Culture sector: 100 thousand dinars
Awqaf and Islamic Affairs sector: 50 thousand dinars
Jordan Hashemite Fund/Princess Basma Center for Human Development: 50 thousand dinars
Environment sector: 50 thousand dinars
Interior sector: 35 thousand dinars
Tourism sector: 30 thousand dinars
Finance/income tax sector: 10 thousand dinars
Transport sector: 10 thousand dinars
