AMMAN — The
Ajloun cable car project is
expected to be completed by June of this year, and will provide at least 700
jobs, according to the chairman of the Jordan Free and Development Zones Group,
Khalaf Hemesat.

Hemesat said that 80 percent of the project has been
completed and 60 percent of its facilities are ready for operation, according
to Al-Mamlaka TV.
The project’s facilities include a restaurant, café,
and commercial market at the start station and a seasonal shop, a restaurant,
and a café at the arrival station, according to Hemesat.
The project will attract investments and will employ
youth from Ajloun, provided that the the city’s workforce have the necessary
professional and vocational specializations.
Hemesat also noted that
investment opportunities will be
announced when the project is completed, adding the governorate has all the
means to succeed.
