Under this agreement,
Al-Ghad will manage all internal and external advertising spaces at QAIA, running
advertising campaigns for the airport, aimed at communicating with its visitors
and travelers, and promoting its services; and for external advertisers facilitating
their access to an important target audience.
The agreement was
signed by Al-Ghad founder and chairman of the board of directors, Mohamed
Alayyan, and the chief commercial officer at AIG, Deema Anani. This step came
after Al-Ghad was selected as the preferred bidder by AIG in competition between
several companies, according to the press statement.
“We are proud to
include AIG in our partners list,” Alyyan said, continuing, “we are always
eager to meet our clients’ marketing and advertising goals and needs
efficiently and effectively. Within the agreement, we will utilize all our
capabilities, including the latest digital solutions, to ensure that the
group’s marketing and advertising messages are delivered in an optimal manner
commensurate with the airport’s position and importance.
We will work to
maximize growth in commercial revenues by taking full advantage of the
advertising spaces provided for advertisers at the airport, in accordance with
the highest specifications and standards in this field.”
From his side, AIG CEO Nicolas Claude said: “We are
pleased with our partnership with Al-Ghad, which will play a key role in
operating the indoor and outdoor advertising spaces spread throughout
QAIA. The
role of Al-Ghad will not only meet the needs of external advertisers, through
which we seek to enhance positive communication with our travelers to provide
them with a better experience, but also our own marketing and advertising
needs.”
He added that “together with our newest partners, we
will continue to explore emerging advertising mediums, including digital
platforms.”
