The Chief of the Royal Hashemite Court, Yousef Hassan Al-Issawi, reaffirmed that Jordan’s steadfast position towards its Arab brothers and its commitment to strengthening Arab solidarity is an integral part of its national principles.

Al-Issawi emphasized that Jordan, under its Hashemite leadership, has always upheld its national and humanitarian stances, remaining steadfast in defending just causes, foremost among them the Palestinian cause.
He highlighted that His Majesty King Abdullah II's policies embody both wisdom in foreign affairs and a strong commitment to Jordan’s progress, stability, and resilience.
These remarks came during a meeting at the Royal Hashemite Court on Thursday with a delegation from Amman’s capital residents and a youth delegation from the “Watan” initiative.
During the discussions, Al-Issawi reviewed the national achievements under His Majesty’s leadership across various sectors, emphasizing the King’s unwavering determination to advance comprehensive development.
He reiterated His Majesty’s vision for a strong Jordan—capable of addressing internal and external challenges, achieving sustainable development, and ensuring a dignified life for its citizens through economic empowerment, youth engagement, and institutional development.
Jordan’s Firm Stance on Just Arab Causes
Al-Issawi also discussed Jordan’s unwavering political and humanitarian stance on just Arab causes, highlighting the King’s diplomatic and political efforts in supporting Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza to achieve their legitimate rights and reject any attempts to displace them.
He pointed to His Majesty’s clear stance, as expressed during his meeting with former U.S. President Donald Trump, reflecting the sentiments of every Jordanian and every free Arab.
Additionally, Al-Issawi spoke about Jordan’s ongoing humanitarian efforts to support the people of Gaza, ensuring the continued flow of medical and humanitarian aid to the besieged sector.
Jordan’s Leading Role in Defending Gaza
Al-Issawi reaffirmed that Jordan, under its Hashemite leadership, translates its vision and principles into actions, evident in its political and humanitarian role in the region. Jordan was among the first to stand by and support its Palestinian brothers in Gaza against the Israeli aggression.
He highlighted His Majesty’s diplomatic efforts since the start of Israel’s brutal attack on Gaza—working towards a ceasefire while simultaneously providing humanitarian and medical aid by land and air.
Al-Issawi also praised the efforts of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah and the honorable humanitarian and political stances of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II.
Strong National Support for His Majesty’s Leadership
The attendees expressed their unwavering support for His Majesty the King, standing united behind his efforts to uphold Jordan’s stature and champion the Palestinian cause.
They pledged their allegiance to the King, stating:
"With you and by your side, we move forward. We remain loyal to our promise, committed to protecting and defending Jordan."
They also commended the King’s direct and continuous engagement with his people, recognizing the Hashemite leadership’s relentless efforts to advance Jordan and promote sustainable development.
Appreciation for the Hashemite Leadership
The attendees praised Queen Rania’s role in empowering women and Crown Prince Hussein’s initiatives to activate youth participation.
They reaffirmed His Majesty’s unwavering support for Palestine and its people, particularly in securing their legitimate right to self-determination and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
Additionally, they valued Jordan’s political efforts, under His Majesty’s leadership, in defending Palestinians on both international and regional fronts.
They also acknowledged the contributions of Queen Rania, Crown Prince Hussein, and Princess Salma bint Abdullah II in supporting the Palestinian cause.

The speakers underscored the importance of the Hashemite custodianship over the Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem, emphasizing its role in protecting these sacred places and preserving their Arab identity.
