The station is designed to serve public transport vehicles on routes connecting Al-Jizah and nearby villages to Amman, including the Al-Jizah/University of Jordan route, which operates with five buses, and the Al-Jizah/Madaba route, served by six buses. Additionally, it supports 38 vehicles operating across 10 internal transport routes within the Al-Jizah district.
Spanning an area of 2.5 dunams, the project was established at a cost of JD 455,000, funded by the Capital Governorate Council’s budget. A consultancy firm prepared the station’s design at a cost of JD 20,000, and construction included paving lanes, medians, sidewalks, and a metal canopy that covers the entire station.
The station will be handed over to the New Al-Jizah Municipality under a memorandum of understanding between the commission and the municipality, which will manage its sustainability and operations.
