Al-Kurdi signs her book "The Woman Who Beat Cancer"

AMMAN– The Jordanian journalist, Dama Al-Kurdi, signed the first edition of her book "The Woman Who Beat Cancer," at the International Amman Book Fair on Thursday. Dar Al-Ahram issued the publication and distribution in Cairo, Egypt, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. اضافة اعلان

The book reflects Kurdi's success story in beating cancer and the support she received from her doctor. It also aims at giving cancer patients hope and encouraging women to screen for early detection of breast cancer, in addition to attending regular check-ups. 

Kurdi was the first Jordanian journalist to work in an Egyptian channel. She has hosted several morning programs on television as well as working as a field reporter in various Arab news channels.
