In an interview with the "Friendly Fire" program, which aired last night on Oman TV and hosted by Dr. Hani Al-Badri, Al-Momani added that this cooperation does not include imposing any directives on media organizations, but rather focuses on establishing a professional partnership aimed at improving the relationship with the media and facilitating the delivery of information to the public.

He explained that the media plays a vital role in strengthening communication between the government and citizens, noting that the diversity of media outlets is one of the virtues that contributes to enriching the media message.

Al-Momani further stated that the Government Communication Ministry has held several meetings with various media outlets to improve the methods of delivering information to the public effectively.

He emphasized that it is essential for these institutions to succeed in dealing with the rapid changes in the media field, which gives them the ability to engage with current issues and increase the effectiveness of the media message directed to citizens.

Al-Momani pointed out that the official narrative plays a key role in addressing the trust gap between the government and citizens, explaining that transparency and disclosure are core to the government's work, and that all ministries are diligently working in this direction.

He underscored the importance of ensuring news is clear and smoothly directed to facilitate public understanding, with accurate recounting of events and including the expected impacts of government decisions, stressing the need for a comprehensive media plan for handling each decision.

This includes careful monitoring of the issue, identifying the relevant parties, and determining how to appropriately present the explanation to the media, which helps provide accurate and reliable information to the public.

Al-Momani stated that the government seeks, through its fieldwork, to enhance direct communication with citizens, emphasizing that the goal of this approach is positive engagement with the people, listening to their needs and demands.

He confirmed that these steps are considered an achievement for the government, reflecting its commitment to improving the quality of life for citizens by listening to their opinions and addressing their issues effectively.

He clarified that fieldwork contributes to creating a genuine partnership between the government and society, strengthening citizens' trust in state institutions and providing a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities they face.

He explained that the monthly Cabinet sessions held in the governorates represent an important opportunity to present a comprehensive development vision, during which local issues are discussed with elected bodies in each governorate.

This ensures the participation of the local community in decision-making, and the results and recommendations of these sessions are announced, reinforcing transparency and reflecting the government's commitment to sustainable development in all regions of the kingdom.

Al-Momani also highlighted the importance of interacting with the media in light of current challenges, especially concerning the Palestinian issue, as efforts are being made to provide accurate and transparent information reflecting the Jordanian state's position.

He emphasized that transparency and awareness are key pillars in the government's strategy for communication with citizens, aiming to enhance mutual understanding and constructive interaction.

Regarding recent opinion polls, Al-Momani confirmed that several recent surveys have shown positive figures reflecting citizens' views on the government's performance, noting that these studies and polls represent a valuable tool for understanding the expectations and priorities of the Jordanian people, clearly reflecting public opinion trends.

He added, "We appreciate these studies and seek to benefit from them in identifying strengths and weaknesses in our government work," stressing the government's commitment to addressing deficiencies and working diligently to rectify them in line with citizens' aspirations, with the goal of enhancing trust and effective communication with all.

Al-Momani noted that a series of meetings have recently been held with various websites, praising the role of these platforms in enhancing communication with the public.

He affirmed that these websites are professional and have a significant impact on shaping public opinion.
Regarding social media, Al-Momani pointed out that social media has become an important communication tool today, as each media outlet has its own tools for communicating with the public.

He explained that content creators, whether in political or cultural fields, possess unique capabilities to engage with local communities and have a wide network of friends and followers, contributing to spreading information more effectively.

Regarding media spokespersons in ministries, Al-Momani said, "The role of spokespersons on behalf of ministries and institutions is to enhance the flow of information to the public, in addition to conveying and explaining the plans and achievements of the ministries effectively to the media."

Concerning the new human resources system, Al-Momani stated, "The government has made important amendments to the human resources system as part of its efforts to improve public administration and enhance the performance of public employees."

Regarding political parties, Al-Momani said, "Political parties represent an important experience, as they have made substantial contributions to the political and social development of Jordanian society.

By exploring the experiences of these parties, we can derive the necessary lessons to build the future, thus building on the positives and improving the negative factors to achieve effective political participation that represents all segments of Jordanian society."
